They need plenty of unobstructed swimming space as well as many good hiding places in which they can go to when threatened. Attempt only with peaceful tank mates and do not keep with bold feeders or very active fishes. This species is not aggressive toward its tank mates. Should not be kept with any polyps or corals, which it will eat. Small invertebrates may be threatened as well.
